Japanese Food & Hospitality Association of New York (“JFHANY”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information obtained through https://jfhany.org (the “Site”), our membership services, and related communications.

(a) Information You Provide

  • Account and membership information: email address, password, first and last name, membership type (Restaurant/Bar/Cafe/Hotel, Product & Service Provider, Small Business from Japan), and newsletter subscription preference.
  • Contact form submissions: first name, last name, email address, and the contents of your inquiry.
  • Billing and payment information: membership dues are invoiced and collected offline (for example, by bank transfer or check). We do not collect or store payment card details through the Site. We retain billing records such as your name, organization, billing address, invoice history, and payment confirmations for accounting and tax purposes.

(b) Information Collected Automatically

  • Session cookies, IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and page access logs for site operation and security.
  • Analytics data (if enabled) through Google Analytics 4.

(c) Information from Third Parties

  • We may receive information from partners, sponsors, and service providers as necessary to operate the Site.

3. How We Use Information

  • To provide and maintain membership services, events, and newsletters.

10. International Transfers

The Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
